Wigginton #23

He doesn't play for a team by the name of "Oak Hill"

Possibly, but think a lot of it is that he's maybe not quite there with the guard skills yet, so he may not have a huge impact at the start of his career as a perimeter player.

Guard game as in refined handle, right?

Yeah, definitely. It sounds like he has a great jump shot, but I think he needs a little time before he goes against perimeter defenders in the B12.
Probably right. In terms of getting in the rotation, I'm curious as to whether he can defend against perimeter Big 12 guys. With his shooting and size if he can defend he should still see minutes. Somewhat like Hogue. I'm definitely hoping he's more guard than forward.

If there's a God, he definitely doesn't love the Cyclones.

Actually he probably does love us being downtrodden and weary and all.

I like to call it resilient.

Some thoughts on Prohm vs. how he handled Young last year...sounded like he listened too much to assistants or something, and finally took things to his own, beginning with starting Young and it seemed like bench rotation also came into place after that.

My hope is he recognizes who simply helps the most and goes with it from the get go. Not saying Young didn't need time but it sounded like Prohm was late making the decision.

Good stuff on LW getting the recognition....excited to see what comes of this group.

Wigginton said Lewis could really shoot it. Which is awesome, but doesn't really mean he can dribble and pass like a B12 guard.

I like Lewis' films. You are right only time will tell. I like what I see so far however.

* Two prospects have achieved five-star status in the final Rivals150 for the class of 2017. Iowa State-bound combo guard Lindell Wigginton of Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill moves from No. 31 to No. 23 and gets a fifth star. Also moving enough to earn a fifth star is Alabama-bound shooting guard John Petty of Huntsville (Ala.) Jemison, who moved from No. 28 to No. 24.
Isu also ranked 23rd in team rankings. I like

He was tabbed by Corey Evans (Rivals) as the best defender among Big 12 commits during the early signing period. Obviously he still has to prove it at the next level, but it is at least encouraging that coming in defense is one of Terrence's strengths.

Thanks for the info. He's got the size to defend for sure. How's his footspeed to defend guards?
