That is right. You took the tire iron from jcyclonee and he ended up with your banana peel. Here are all the weapons that you had after stealing from other rooms:He HAD a tire iron. I stole it the first night, iirc...
Yes. You're better off rooming with a stranger most of the time. Friends from high school tend to take advantage of each other, and resentments can build. There are ALWAYS exceptions to the rule, of course.Does anyone have any advice on rooming with a random person in college? I'm considering doing it but haven't really made my mind up yet
Yeah I feel like it would be good to live with a random person my first year because I can meet new people and I didn't really want to live with these guys that wanted me to live with them and they probably won't be able to afford the place I want to live at.Yes. Second - Treat your roommate(s) with respect, assume nothing, and share the space fairly. It will help in the long run.

I'm definitely nervous about get a roommate and absolutely hating him or vise versa
My weapon is probably the one that would do the least amount of damage.
That's one of the risks but it can also end up being a reward. You learn to make it work.Yeah I feel like it would be good to live with a random person my first year because I didn't really want to live with these 2 guys that wanted me to live with them and they won't be able to afford the place I want to live at. I'm living in Ames at Stadium view. They have a roommate matching website which is really nice.50/50 shot that it works. Usually better odds than if you know them though. I always say, you can survive anything for a year (within typical reason).
I thought you were living in Boone, is that still the case?
I thought it was scalding hot BBQ though. An old lady got 1MM dollars from McDonalds for hot coffee spilling on her groin.
Tailgate parties at BDK's place.I'm living in Ames at Stadium view. They have a roommate matching website which is really nice.

Desiigners post roommate posts are giving me bad flashbacks to dorm house roommates.
- Freshman year: Creepy dude from CR. Architect student. Good news is he was home every weekend and I had the room to myself
- Sophomore year: Arrogant architect student that talked baby talk with his girlfriend who practically lived in our room. We hated each other. He owns his own big ass architect office now and I am guessing he believes I probably died in bar or something.
- Sophomore year Part II: The "Gabes" from DSM. He was cool.
- Junior year: Another ass-hole, this one from NY. Architect student. WTF is with all of these architects?
Moral of the story is don't be BCCLone's roommateYou not finish your bachelors at ISU, boxster? I see you stopped after Junior year.
I had one roomie my first semester of freshman year, he flunked out. Solo for rest of year.
Second year had one roommate of a brother on the floor. He flunked out after the year.
Next year I had two roomies in a triple, they both failed out and I moved off campus for next year.
Fourth year, off campus, 3 guys in two bedroom. One flunks out at semester. Get a new one and he brings his gf with basically. Other roommate flunks out after second semester.
So for last semester I moved with the one who moved in at semester and his now fiance to Huxley. He had graduated. I graduate and leave at semester.
