Bruce Weber Postgame

Did you see their empty arena? I think they're fanbase is getting there already. As for the comment, that's probably Bruce just trying to deflect some of the criticism off him.

I was surprised to see a lot of empty seats. I know a 6 PM tip is a little tougher but not enough to justify that. ISU hasn't had that many seats empty in 4 years.

What do you expect when you are working them over , stopping each and every one of their runs and continuing to keep them at leg length. We have owned them recently as well. This was a game KSTATE desperately needed at home and we punked their ass. Cry me a river. What a little *****.

Move into around the 20 minute mark. He says that our players started talking trash. I haven't seen the game yet, so what's that comment alluding to? Any specific examples?

Anyone who coached Marcus Foster and Shane Southwell, even for a minute, does not get to comment on the other team talking trash. Those two guys were as good as they come at it

Watching the game last night I noticed two different times that Monte was staring at the K-State bench with a not very happy look, but I never saw him say anything towards the bench.

I think we were getting pretty loud at the end, but that was only because it was so quiet in there.

But this is funny coming from a guy that during road games, will stomp his foot when the home team is shooting free throws. Never seen anything like it. He's a desparate man.

One of my favorite parts of the game last night was when Gene Keady said the best thing about Bruce was his organization. Not his leadership or basketball IQ, but the fact he was always on time. He basically called him the best manager he's ever had.

Is this something coaches complain about now? It's never been something I care for and I'd rather see players let their play do the talking but it's been a part of college sports for a long time.

Us talking smack isn't the reason you lost Bruce..your players getting their collective asses handed to them for the 1st 20 minutes is where you should direct your angst. You should really get into the game and try to rile them up....maybe get out on the floor a little and direct them what you want them to do on every single offensive and defensive possession....oh wait.

Who are the 'trash talkers' on our team? Our guys seem kinda low-key. I thought this was gonna be about the goal-tending; he had a right to get T'd up for that - it was a four point swing, but still we pounded & controlled them for most of the game and for that he outta be ticked.
It is amazing how one call can (in theory) change a game. That was a huge non-call. No hoop, technical, two made FTs ... and I felt a lot better.

Did I miss something with his comment about the trash talking? It seemed like that was just an added bonus to stress how we were having our way. It didn't seem like he was upset with us about it or anything, he just stated that we were talking a little trash when we were on our run
