Five Guys Coming to Des Moines

The love of In-N-Out is head scratching. So many fall over themselves raving about it. Maybe it's because I lived in the Bay Area so could have it whenever I wanted but it's way overrated in my opinion. Like most restaurants it seems, if it's not close geographically the love is high. I rave about a place like Portillos but so many in Chicago think it's odd how much love it gets from out of staters.

It's not head scratching if you understand the simple truth that people have different tastes

I've tried quite a few of the regional burger spots. In-N-Out, The Habit, Shake Shack, Whataburger, Five Guys, etc. They are what they are, a good burger, nothing out of this world. With that said, did somebody really rank B Bops as their second favorite? Everybody has their preferences, but they're not top 5 in Des Moines.

Steak N Shake or In N Out are just as good as Five Guys and costs about 60% less. 5 guys is pretty overpriced for what it is.

"Shake Shack" from NYC seems like the next one to be destined to be in every town. Seems like the have 3 in about every major city now. I haven't been but I know some who go nuts over it.
