I have them beating Vanderbilt on the road for their final non con game and predict they will go 11-7 in conference and finish 20-10.

I am counting on continued improvement on offense and a more consistent effort on defense. I think this team will continue to get better the more it learns to play with each other.

8-10.

Don't see us beating Baylor or Kansas regardless of location, and see us 8-6 against the rest of the teams. Honestly, that might be generous. IMO Prohm isn't clever enough to tweak things and steal a few games we shouldn't, and this team (as I said in the game thread) has our worst group of "bigs" in a quarter century. This looks to be a NIT team, flame away though!

Looking at the schedule I think we will win on the road at TCU, Texas, and OU. The schedule lends me to believe we can run the table at home, but Im sure we will have a hiccup or 2. Id go with 10-8.

WVU, Baylor, and Kansas looking really good right now. Plus we don't show up for lesser opponents, so we drop a couple of those, too. 8-10 sounds about right, if something doesn't change quickly.

I get that some don't think they will do well but after taking a step back and looking at it. They have a whole bunch of guys playing together for the first time. They worked a ton on defense and improved and only lost to Gonzaga be a few points and if one more shot or free throw falls against Cinci they would have won that game. The Iowa game was a mess but that happens sometimes. They have started moving the ball better on offense and have had better shot selection. This team has good leaders on it and I think some of these big 12 teams are paper tigers. They haven't really beaten anybody and you will see that once the conference games start.

I get that, but we are regressing at this point, not getting better. If Iowa had happened before Gonzaga, then I would feel differently.

I would say 9-9 if I had to guess. I don't see us going worse than 8-10, or better than 10-8.

After looking at the schedule, I'd agreed with 7-11. I could certainly see 8-10 though if they don't lose a road game to a bad team.
