Follow up to brainless mouse story from Thursday:
Friday, getting ready to leave for work. My shoes were by the garage door (we take our shoes off in the house)...retrieved them & started to put one on...my toes encountered something hard & fuzzy in the toe of the shoe. Mild panic. Took the shoe off & knocked it on the floor to empty it. Out comes a catnip mousey toy - one of them must have been playing with it & lost it in the shoe. Phew!
Hope you find the mouse. I know it's hard on everybody when you lose a pet.
I expect it has already been through the system and has been filtered out of the litter box. I'm not worried.

Owl search. Fail. Silence as soon as I got outside for walkabout.
Owl hooting did result in another song stuck in my head. Damn owl. KC will probably know it.
