If you like caramel apples or caramel apple apple cider get some Caramel Kissed Smirnoff and apple cider. You can thank me later.
I'm trying not to Say Anything about KC really knowing her balls.Booze balls. They started out as Rum Balls; now we also have Peppermint Schnapps Balls, Grand Marnier Balls, Butterscotch Schnapps Balls, and Strawberry Schnapps Balls. The first three listed are still the most popular by a long shot.
Treats for CG--I have to do sugar cookies with my grandma's recipe for Christmas. I also have a ginger cookie recipe that is my fave, but a bit labor intensive because you dip the in almond bark. Buckeyes (chocolate dipped peanut butter balls) are a must for my side. I also do (not all at the same time):
Chocolate cookies with a rolo baked in the middle
Chocolate cookies with a peppermint kiss
A chocolate expresso cookie
Peanut clusters (easiest ever)
Chocolate cookie with chocolate and Andes pieces
Google/pinterest search Avalanche cookies--an easy drop cookie
Need to figure out what I am making for the teacher appreciation lunch for desserts. Usually I do something Christmas-y flavored, but have recipes I like for mini Nutella cheesecakes and a yummy pb cheesecake I made for Thanksgiving. Then I feel like I need a cake cupcake that isn't as rich as cheesecake.
What is BBMB? What was 214 about, I had a couple but don't remember the number.
I'd probably study more than 2-3 hours, but not a significant amount more. But now I know I'm probably spending at least 20 some hours studying for each final. Not that I'm complaining, law school should be more difficult, but I just thought it was funnyOutside of a couple finals in college. I don't think I ever broke an hour for any test. Usually 15-30 minutes and I was done.
I don't know, I'd probably prefer the essay questions now because you can demonstrate what you know. Plus it spreads out the curve. With multiple choice, one answer's half correct and the others are mostly correct, correct, and more correctBiology, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology.
214 was the anatomy and physiology class. Also the weedout for vet kids. Which is great, but I wasn't a vet kid. I knew people who took it three times. And still failed. Some people would go home during summer to NICC to take the "equivalent" so they could skip it at ISU. The tests had no multiple choice, some essay answer and he tested for what you didn't know. Basically going after nit picky things that probably weren't mentioned in class vs. going after concepts they wanted to be sure you knew. After Brant retired I heard the test became multiple choice. Weaklings. Think I got a A- or B+ in it and I was damn proud of that. And that was probably on only like a 75-80% in the class. Don't know if we had anyone hit 90%.
The lab was excellent though and I learned a lot in that. Probably learned more when I was a TA for it. Having to explain it to others makes you learn it well.
So, when I was on my way out the door this morning I noticed something on the carpet. On closer inspection I discovered it was a mouse head...sans brains (now wondering if one or more of my cats are zombies).
Being the good, loving wife that I am, I picked it up with a kleenex, went back upstairs and deposited it on PapaLew's keyboard in the office. He should find it when he gets home from work this afternoon.![]()

What part of "mouse head with no brains" includes a tail???See, that's just lazy.
You should have tied a string to its tail, tied the other end of the string to the back of his computer and put it on his mouse pad.
Yeah. You haven't lived until you take a 4 hour final where you are working hard the entire time!! I was late to my first law school final due to inclement weather, so that made it even more fun!I'd probably study more than 2-3 hours, but not a significant amount more. Ah yes, the 4 four hour exam. And god, that sounds like a nightmare. Though I like them better than taking 8 hour exams, and I won't take a 24 hour exam. My friends had to do that, and it sounded terribleYeah. You haven't lived until you take a 4 hour final where you are working hard the entire time!! And she needs to craft a new holiday concoction that she can call Two Balls (and then get the recipe to CG).I'm trying not to Say Anything about KC really knowing her balls.

That's just cruelI didn't overly mind the essay because like you said, if you knew the process like how ATP is synthesized, you did well. The hour time limit became the trouble. He always did a big matching section too. Those weren't horrible.

He uses a wireless mouse.Oops, I glossed over that part. I'm sticking with my string and the mouse pad argument though![]()
