You don't need a 'helmet logo' you dont need to copy something from the past. Be bright, be flashy, be different.

There are plenty of ways to be flashy without using those god awful yellow unis.

I have to agree w/ Solar. I don't mind the all red, have even grown to like it, but please no all yellow, and definitely no r/y/y!

Hmm... haven't put much thought into socks. I'll defer to your judgement on that one.

I basically want this helmet with the updated logo (or the funnel of course) and a red facemask:

I also love triple stripes with a white accent. I know the Trice throwbacks were popular with a lot of folks, but I absolutely hated them. I've also never been a fan of traditional gold. If we wanted to go that route, I'd prefer we used the modern metallic chrome finish. Save some of the crazier stuff for prime time under the lights for a big time match up. Uniforms can look very different at night.

I agree, I loved that shade of yellow. I prefer it to the more gold as well. Really the current yellow we have is OK, it definitely has some pop to it, but it can quickly become too much in excess, IMO. Barring that we likely won't be changing colors of yellow any time soon, I'll try to make your order w/ this shade of yellow to the helmet, see how it looks. I think it would look great, and actually think if they do go w/ an optional yellow helmet, that the darker shade here, in our history also, would be the color to do it in. It doesn't mean that they would have to change the current yellow color scheme for everything, just for the yellow helmet.

2017, continued...for Home, I guess I prefer r/r/y ; other options would be r/r/r, r/r/w, y/r/y, y/r/r (would make CYCLNST8 happy), and w/r/w, maybe g/r/g (gray/red/gray). Options are good though, let the coaches and players do what they want. I'd bet bet if we do get some unis w/ a lot of color combinations, some of them will not be embraced wholeheartedly.

I've got some more, and some more combinations I'm working on. Thought you might like the added white stripes. I'm not going to add a bunch of white on the jerseys or any shoulder stuff/stripes though (yet), as it may get too busy.
