Emmanuel Malou thread

How does the NCAA have the time/manpower to investigate every player?

How do they even know who is who? Can't ISU (or whoever) just say he went to community college for two years and then stop at that?

Its a lot like your taxes... you can put down whatever you want. You just better hope you never get audited.

In all seriousness every player has to register with the Clearinghouse. From there the eligibility gets run and I am pretty sure school administrators have to sign off as well. Not 100% certain on the last part.

I'll bet he gets a season with the option to appeal for another.

The NCAA was established and is run by the nation's colleges and universities, correct? Billions from broadcast rights and other revenues, some of which funds NCAA operations, also correct? (I don't know this, I'm presupposing it.)

Why is it the NCAA is unable to expedite these cases acting for the benefit of the student athlete? Why, for instance, did the Diallo case require six months to adjudicate? Serious question, if someone here knows or has insights.

Malou isn't real and is a completely made up person. The faster you guys realize that, the quicker we can get on with our lives.

Why should age matter? Chris Weinke was 28 when he played at Florida State and won the Heisman
It really doesn't. More about when your clock starts. I'm sure his clock stopped at some point allowing him to still play at age 28. Malou's never stopped.
