More new coaches confirmed...

Why would a former head coach take this gig and not at least be the OC? Makes no sense.

Finally an old fart amongst the whipper snappers.

Dead set against hiring this guy. First, no Toledo or Mount Union connection. Second, he is way to old to recruit. Third, he coached at any Ivy League School. How could any Ivy coach ever be a Big 12 coach. I wouldn't hire him for Toledo.
Five, just kidding. In Campbell I Trust.

I wonder if Hofher's chart says to kneel down? Sorry, still ******.

What's his twitter handle? That should seal his fate. #grampersISU?

Lots of up and down moves over his career. Hopefully we count as an up.

You're a quick learner. Skeptical, angry, and second guessing all in one post. You'll fit in just fine here.

As a GA I presume? Considering we have one spot and no qb coach

Yes, GA is what I assume also. He was one of 5 ol that were 2010 hs grads that Toledo brought in and made a major impact on offensive side of ball. Just a bunch of 2/3 stars who got the job done. I saw them play against Florida, Ohio State etc and we had legit shots at both games. Esp. Ohio State! These guys were developed into an amazing line group with the center [Greg Manz] now on travel roster for Texans.

I wondered why they didn't list his record at Buffalo in his bio. Now I know.

After a few years of dismal results, the team hired Jim Hofher, a former head coach at Division I-AA Cornell University to be the head coach. However, Hofher's teams were marked by poor discipline and lack of effort, and won only eight games during his five seasons at UB

Some guys aren't cut out to be HCs. Some former bad HC excel as an asst when they have one thing to focus on.

How could you be succseeful at Buffalo. Most Northern school in MAC. No real airport within miles. Ohio is big recruiting state for MAC and way to many other choices closer. Would only get table scraps to go to Buffalo. OH :wideeyed: never mind, I knew I had heard this somewhere before.:twitcy:

I don't get this obsession. What if neither one of them have any interest in being brought on in some capacity?

I'm not sure about Sage, but Seneca absolutely wanted a job. But I think he wanted to be brought on as QB coach, he probably didn't want to be a GA.
