To appease all the 49ers "REAL" gold fans, I'd like to see a Walking Cy throwback:

Can someone create a helmet that incorporates the image of Jack Trice? Like the "I" in IState could be a dark ghost like image of the man.

Also, any tornado logo that gets used,we really need to make it dark and fierce looking, like a real tornado. The yellow/gold curly tornado almost says wimpy to me.
 
The Nike apparel that incorporates the off black and gun metal gray looks good, even Paul was wearing his black sweatshirt on the sidelines. If you go to Cy's Locker Room, 1/3 of the gear incorporates it in some way. I know there are people who don't like it which is fine and understandable but it looks like it is here to stay and growing in popularity for the foreseeable future.
 
Can we please get some white accent stripes on the helmets; shoulders and pant seams:

CMC seems to be at least making this seem like a priority.  I wonder when he met with the team if this was something that they wanted to see.

The official name of that color is "anthracite". It's a Nike-exclusive color. And that's the gray I think ISU should use in its alternates.

Urban legend that the 49ers stole our identity. They were founded in the 1940s, we used it in the 1960s.

Put the same cardinal/white pant stripe on the 2nd pic, no other changes? Then make the home jersey lettering white w/ gold trim? Then some home/away combo's, red helmet/gold helmet/center helmet stripe, 'I-State helmet logo, etc?

Keep in mind, fanatics, we need to give them ideas for the primary uniform first, get that right, get the colors right...then, if they wish, later, all this other 'alternative' stuff (who knows?).

Both are awesome imo, but I like the cyclone on the helmet
 
we have so many cool logos: tornado, ****** cyclones, walking cy, cy running w/ a football, the revised tornado bird (not w/ the blue or ****** iowa state) and of course the new I State

I think we can all agree how awesome it would be to have helmets w/ the different stickers for a couple games each year.
