Agreed. It's different when it's a violations issue, but when it's just for performance and it's a person you know is a good person, you always have that "what could I have done to help them more" thought process.
Most everyone wanted to see him succeed here because of the man he was. I rarely heard a negative thing about him as a person. I like the change overall, but I really wanted it to work out. When I think of the type of man I want representing ISU, he embodied the character pretty damn well.
