I'm sick. To cheer me up I opened up my men's basketball tickets envelope. Then I remember that I'll have to miss like half the games because of work.

There are other RTTers that would happily buy one or two that you can't use....

Why do people feel the need to whistle, loudly & tunelessly, with they are walking down the halls? It's a very long hall, and it echoes, and it's annoying as frak.

During the summer of my freshman year, I stayed in Friley and some guy was sitting outside whistling Yellow Submarine for about 15 minutes. It was one of those clear quiet nights and it echoed between Helser and Friley. It was catchy for a bit, but eventually someone shouted "Oh my god, would you shut the **** up already!"

I'll sometimes find my self whistling or humming tunes. "Always look on the bright side of life" is a popular one, or bagpipe music

No...this guy doesn't whistle "tunes". He just...........whistles. High pitched notes. And perhaps it's because that's the range of hearing I still have, I find it extremely annoying and distracting. Tunes I can bury with my subconscious mind. Random notes, I can't.

One thing the Mangino thread has reinforced for me is the fact that a lot of people take their spectator sports way more seriously than me.

Not me. Always Look on the Bright Side of Life is stuck in my head for the rest of the day and I just have to accept it being there. At least it's a happy tune.
