Based of the situation he's in, he's dead. In the comic books, he is dead but it's EXTREMELY different than what just happened on the show. I think they may have switched Glenn's story arch with someone else that I won't say unless you want it. I'm pretty surprised that happened since they foreshadowed Glenn's comic book death last season.

He got his hand cut off a long time ago by the Governor and they never did it on the show. Not sure tonight's episode will have anything to do with it, but the creator of TWD has said on a few occasions that he'd wished he'd have the Governor do it like in the comics.

On Glenn, I'll be a bit more cryptic cause I don't know what the show is doing related to the comics right now.

The whole Glenn scene never happens in the comics, I'll be interested to see what happens next and wouldn't be surprised if Glenn is still alive on the show, so big things for him haven't happened yet.
