On the autograph issue, on the article on Cyclones.com, there is a comment from October 8 asking about autographs that still has not been answered. I guess the AD's office too busy to bother answering that?

You would have too many people trying to get in.
Honestly it was cool once, but they need to do some reform. Don't care what anyone thinks, but I didn't go there for the women's team. Would like to see a light scrimmage (ala NBA All Star Game where no defense is played) and a player/coach panel where fans can ask questions.
Hell no, not if its the same mouthbreathers that call and ask questions on the call-in shows.

With home volleyball and football already on the schedule, when exactly would you have proposed they do it? 8 a.m. or 10 p.m.?
Love that it's on Friday. Going to head to Ames that evening, do HM, hang out that night in Ames and then it's football gameday the next day. For someone who can only make it to Ames maybe one weekend each fall now this is perfect.
Not sure how Saturday would even work unless it's on an away-game weekend, or a bye week I guess, but those wouldn't always work out. Even with an away game, you couldn't schedule it until less than two weeks out because of the time selection for the ISU game. So Friday of a home game weekend is perfect.

We'd stay overnight but with a 6 month old there isn't much to do in Ames all day. Now if they had a Banana Republic...
It is really frustrating to have the conflict between Volleyball and public parking for football in the Hilton lots. We may have to move our big tailgate from Hilton to a JTS lot.
Thanks. A bit disappointed but maybe they'll still plan something. Maybe JP will realize its a good way to make some extra cash and charge a fee per autograph. My annonymous source, Travis Hines, told me he's a real penny pincher. Still making the pilgrimage to Ames regardless.
You might get lucky. Sometimes they hang around after games & sign a few. That could conceivably happen here. I didn't go last year (had other plans) so I'm not really sure what to expect.
I read between the lines after it wasn't specifically advertised like it was last year, also just saw it confirmed from ISU Athletics on Facebook.
We won't be there due to no autographs. Last year's poster looks so awesome hanging in our basement with all the other cyclone swag. That's too bad.
No autographs confirmed. Autographs were available during fan fest. Makes sense, the players stayed really late last year and this year they probably want people out of Hilton quickly so the athletics staff can get ready for the football game on Saturday.
