Very nice picture.

I've been ordering food for a workshop at work this week. Today's last order is from Noodles and Co. I didn't realize that their family sizes were $20-27. That just seems pricey.

Thanks Rev. Now I'm craving some Pad Thai or a Thai Hot Pot

If 55's first post is something like "Having a great time. Pants is a complete gentleman" I can only assume that he killed her and is posting on her behalf to create an alibi.

She added the word "guys" to her post. That means all is fine, right?

Finally able to share a couple details of the big day.

September 26 went off without a hitch (Get it? GET IT? Eh, you get it.)

Ceremony went fine, as far as I know. The story of the day happened after the ceremony.

We had plans to get scenic photos at the Campanile after the wedding and before the reception. The closet we could park was at the Enrollment Services Center (formerly Alumni Hall) and walk to the Campanile in between Carver Hall and Music Hall. When we got out of the car, and heard music being played in the area of the Campanile, though it was not music coming from the Campanile bells. As we got closer to the Campanile, we saw a crowd of people. Okay, no big deal, it's family weekend, maybe there's something going on (Also explains why we couldn't park any closer.) When we arrived on the south side of the Campanile, we started getting looks from people, which we figured would happen since we were in our wedding attire. That's when we noticed rows of white chairs on the north side of the Campanile.

A wedding was starting shortly at the Campanile. The music was a string orchestra sitting underneath the Campanile. We crashed a wedding on our wedding day.

The best part. A friend of mine from college, who works in southern Iowa, is getting married next summer. Her fiance works in Illinois, so they are doing the long-distance right now. They came to Ames for the wedding, and since they were together that weekend, they were going to have their engagement photos done...at the Campanile. Their photographer, who was waiting for them at the Campanile, called them and said, "There's a wedding that's about to start here, as well there's a wedding couple here, who's not part of the wedding, getting photos taken."

So, not only did we crash a wedding on our wedding day, we blocked our friends from getting their engagement photos done.

Campanile is a popular place!

We did photos there before the wedding. I was running late (of course) so the photographer took a few pics of hubby by himself. Those won some photo contest for them.

QUICK HELP--easiest place to park at Wells Fargo? Going to try and leave at 5pm, concert starts at 7:30 (don't care too much about opening act). I was just going to try the main lot of 3rd. I'm not overly familiar with that area downtown.

Can I come to TSwift?

We did formal family photos before the wedding. We wanted scenic photos at the Campanile and Alumni Center that we did before the reception.
