Birdy: Would you let your 4 and 2 YO's wander the neighborhood by themselves? It amazes me that the people 2 doors down from us let them do it every weekend afternoon. They wander from house to house trying to find someone to play with. Also keep in mind, there's a peeper/attempted rapist like a block away from them.

*pre-emptive Edit: THE OTHER WAY, SMARTYPANTSES

Yeah, no. We live on a pretty quiet street (last street on the development, no outlet straight out either end; we also have 2 policemen down the block and know most of the neighbors). They have to have at minimum the 10yr old out with them. Now I am all about giving kids independence and letting them run free at some point, but not that young.

Right...we let the 5 YO go across to the neighbors, and even once to the people behind them, but they have to tell us where they're going and with who. These two are like shut out of the house and told not to come back until a certain time, it seems like. It's a man and woman that live there (not sure if they're married), each with their own kids from previous relationships. I think the girls get put outside when the woman is gone.

WTF I'm pretty sure you live in a nice neighborhood. One of your neighbors have too much drinky last night?

Probably some idiot lawn mowing contractor and his giant trailer full off mowers. Dead end street with no cul-de-sac.

So I had my first pregame for a football game today which was really fun. And I also got to go to the Wisconsin game! A friend got two free tickets and so she gave me one.

GO STATE! She actually had to leave at half because she needed to go do reading before the ND game. And she's attractive, but right now I just hope we become really good friends because she's really cool.

Oh no! Prohm was at the game! Did he clear it with Prohm's people? Feed really needs to step out of the limelight. I mean what right did he have to help show off the Big 12 trophy?!?! (sarcasm)
