I know it's a way of life for many, but most here know my take with animals, and I feel like that kind of work would literally just mentally and emotionally break me. And it usually would take a LOT for that to happen with me.

You may be interested in this, but today I found out vegan leather is another name for fake leather.

I find certain things annoying on FB too (talking about the travel thread). So I unfollow or don't read. People posting travel pics (always like to see where people are going!) or 100 pics of their cute baby (75 allowed for ugly babies :jimlad:) never bothered me. Now, ranty personal statuses - especially those complaining about money after you post all the less necessary things you spent money on will likely get an unfollow/friend.

So THAT'S why you never like or comment on any of my stuff anymore.

So, lots of Facebook hate in CF today. On the positive side, what's the best travel shot anyone's posted that popped up on your news feed? Friend liked/commented on her friends selfie so it popped onto my news feed. Shot was in Tibet on Mt. Everest. I'll give that one a thumbs up even with the controversy about climbing there. Additional cred cause she was there in Tibet by herself.

Hey 00, he responded. Let me get the popcorn quick.

Go get him 00! And beside the whole "what if" phrase is just a condiscending way to be an *******

Naw, I ain't getting into an argument with him. I said my peace, and that's it. Although, woo...I almost responded with "I'm sorry, next time I'll just say 'why don't you try and not be a ***** next time'"

I can detect "hog" and "not hog".

Actually, I can detect hog, cattle, and chicken. Differentiating between cattle and horse is a bit more difficult.

I know, I've said I haven't been on a "working" farm really. But, when your aunt lives on a road that has four to five small hog operations, plus a largish chicken farm near your grandma, and just general driving the rural countryside, you figure it out.

I could probably get hog, cattle, and horse (maybe). The thing that amazes me is that you can walk thru a cattle confinement, and as long as you don't get it on you, you would never know it 5 minutes later (unless it's a milking parlor, then you smell like teat dip), but you walk thru a hog confinement and touch nothing other than the clean grates, get nothing on you, and 2 hours later, you can still smell it in your clothes.
