Twenty minutes is a lot. Nader averaged 16 last season.
I actually think there's a chance Max would get more playing time if Fred is not coaching next year. Depending on the replacement, but we've seen that Fred is not that willing to go to a defensive and rebounding type guy off the bench.
So he's our's if Hoiberg stays?

Or see who the next coach is, you have a potential final 4 team that you can play on.
Asked whether Hoiberg had raised that topic with him, Bielfeldt said: "He said he is going to look at it, like he's done with his past NBA offers."
So if Fred leaves, it's possible he ****ed up Williams, Diallo, and Bielfeldt? ...AND left two open scollys on the bench? Wow.
Randy Peterson's column said Max would wait to see who the new HC was going to be before deciding assuming Fred leaves....
I know some bigs are needed, but can you really **** up someone that barely played at Michigan?

Don't be an idiot. He didn't quit recruiting them, or try sabotaging Iowa State. They wanted to play for Fred, not for Iowa State. A lot of guys aren't going to commit to a school not knowing who their coach will be or how they fit in.
So what. Randy Peterson also tweeted twice to the ISU fan base to calm down after the Romar quote because Hoiberg would be coaching the Cyclones in 2015-16. Without even an 'imo' attached to that. Why don't somebody ask him about that. I like many of his articles, but I do not and will not ever trust his statements.
Seems obvious why CW told us that Fred seemed to be okay with what went down with Abdelmassih and Williams decomitting. He knew he wasn't going to be here more than likely. And, Matt, saying on KXNO that if it weren't for Fred's blessing to go, he would have stayed a Cyclone. Fred wasn't going to encourage someone to stay when he didn't know if he was even going to stay.
Intentions aside, telling a recruit you don't know if you're going to be the coach next year is essientially giving up on their recruiting.
Did you read the article? It said that came from Max in a text, so unless you are saying Randy flat out lied in print, you can be pretty sure Max said it...geez
