***Official 2015 NHL Playoff Thread***

Anything can happen but you really think this one will end in 5? If I was betting a significant amount of dough I'd probably take Chicago in 7 but I see this going the distance either way.

Honestly, I have no idea. I think I have a sense that the Ducks are overrated, but that is based on past playoff performance, not this team particularly. It probably is Ducks in 7 or Hawks in 6 based on the home ice matchups, but I'll predict Hawks in 5 just to take a shot at it.

I've heard rumblings that StL may be a likely choice. I'm hoping that Blashill gets the job if he leaves. What are your feelings on it? You want him to stay or go?

I absolutely want him to stay as it would be a huge blow to the Redwings if he left, in my opinion. There is a reason why Canada chooses him to coach them in the olympics

Didn't get to see a second of the game because I was working so no analysis or anything. Just a big GO DUCKS!!!!

Blackhawks defense was terrible, can definitely tell there were injuries/holes there. I felt like Chicago outplayed the Ducks most of the game in a lot of aspects, just didn't reflect on the scoreboard.

Cubs and Blackhawks are allies #betrayal

Good 1st for both squads. Happy Anaheim managed to tighten up the screws after Chicago started hot. Not sure exactly how long but they went quite the stretch without getting a shot off.

Incredible win for the Hawks last night, but I have to say how impressed I've been with Anaheim. This series could definitely go either way, but I'll hope the Hawks can somehow win 3 straight to make me correct. Looking like this could go 7.

The header was incredible, even though it didn't count.

Neither goalie deserved to lose that game last night, but I'm really happy the Blackhawks won!

Anaheim's forecheck is very impressive, and they did an excellent job of keeping the puck in the offensive zone to create more scoring chances. I definitely don't see this ending in 5.

Didn't like the end result but damn what a game that was! The 2nd OT was absolutely insane and each goalie came up huge several times. This one is definitely going the distance and will be a blast to watch. The Ducks game 7 victory will be one for the ages :)

Well hungus. What do you think of all that has transpired with Babby? Kinda ****** he went to that dumpster fire in Toronto but I'm excited for blashill (potentially)

I don't either. That was just the uninformed prediction I made before the series based on gut feeling. Anaheim is impressive and this looks to be easily 6 or 7 games. Hopefully both teams (I mean the Blackhawks only) get a lot of rest today.

Blackhawks speed was negated in this game. Both teams snail-like after the super long game two. It cost Chicago dearly, as they are an up-tempo speed team. I don't like Chicago's odds anymore. Kane almost tied this thing up with like 6 seconds left. Darn.

Anaheim vs Tampa Bay would be the least watched Stanley Cup final ever lol

Hawks had a lot of great chances, but Anaheim clogs up the middle which makes it tough to the put them away. I think the Hawks have "been the better team" for 2 games so far, but have only come away with one win, arguably the game they should not have won. Difference has really been Andersen making key saves and Anaheim's speed/depth on defense. Also Q really messed up by scratching Teuvo and Vermette for Kris "Turned it over again!" Versteeg and Joakim "-2 rating in 6 active minutes" Nordstrom. No idea why you scratch 2 effective players after a win on the road only to effectively bench one of the guys you brought in for them. Just head scratching coaching move.
