we ordered a gift for a wedding and they delivered the majority, another thing was on backorder and then emailed like "this will be on backorder forever, call to cancel."
So I did that tonight. They send me an email saying X amount is refunded. They refunded the portion of the order that was shipped and delivered. Which was twice as much as the thing on backorder. Am I supposed to call and fix this? I don't really feel like I need to call and say "take my money" because you somehow refunded the part already in my hands and not the part on backorder.
I'll congratulate you, and maybe a couple of other Hawkeyes who post here, but as for the rest of your fanbase, ehhhhhh, not so much. Sorry...that's about as good as I've got today.

The airport I am flying to in the morning is about as far south and east in Illinois as you can get. Thankfully this will be a drop the passengers, fuel and go because there is pretty much nothing else there.

I was surprised that a smack-talky Iowa fan minion at work did not say anything to me last night....about 20 seconds after the Iowa game ended (my cube neighbor was listening), I found out why...he was afraid to say anything until Iowa won.
I listen to a few christian podcasts to and from work (no, I'm not perfect, but I'm working on being better), and around home when I'm by myself. I think I mentioned the guy who took over for me texted me yesterday after the game to talk smack. Anyway, already fuming because of the loss, so as I'm getting ready for work, I'm walking around thinking about all of the responses I'd have if he keeps it up at work, and I'm admittedly pretty good about getting people deeper than they get me in those situations. I get in my car and put on my regular "to work" podcast, just played the next one in the queue...and it's about Matthew 15:11: "It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man" and it's about how horribly we often talk to people....wow, yeah, okay...I guess I get the message, there. So my last 31-ish hours have been spent not responding with nastier stuff when I get that talk. A lot of "yep" and "uh-huh" responses out of my mouth.
southern IL looks a lot like how I imagine West Virginia looks. They legit have a southern accent down there.
obvs without the mountains and stuff. Actually, I drove down through IL to AL. And it's pretty much Kentucky without the blue grass grass.
I was listening to that game on the radio and was yelling at the announcer at the very beginning when he was talking about Wyoming's coach and said "and he graduated from the College of Wooster, in Massachusetts" No! We're in Ohio, and the place is Massachusetts isn't even spelled the same.
Apparently my dad lived there for a bit after college and it at least used to be an ultra conservative hick town. More power to them...just not my cup of tea.

kid who milked for us (kid, lol I was 11 and he was going to college lololol) went to Southern and he came back with a fricking Kentucky accent. Lots of signs about guns and ...........banned subjects. The older I get, the less I want to live in a place like that.

DH is never going to buy that I'm normal. Though look, he likes peppers on his now and that gets a paltry 2%!
He has been randomly cranky but other than that great. Was just holding him and had the whole "I want to pause time" thought.
shrimp is good in fajitas, fettuccine, and cocktail sauce. Pizza is weird. Stop being weird. Why are you being weird? No one likes onion on their pizza except for weird people.
