Big 12s Roll Call

The fact that there is sunshine out gets me really, really excited to drink outside in KC. Anyone have other plans for when you are down there? My group is planning on hitting up Boulevard either Thursday or Friday before the games.

Our group is looking at the 11 or 12:30 tour on Friday.

I'm in for Saturday. s̶h̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ ̶w̶e̶ ̶m̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶i̶t̶ Originally hadn't planned on it. But we had so much fun last year and the weather being great all this week, we got our minds thinking about it yesterday. Last year went with a buddy from Omaha and met up with my dad and brother. Buddy moved away. Wife doesn't want to go (darn Husker) despite all my pleadings that she would enjoy it regardless. Found a non-Cyclone fan this morning who is up for the experience! Everything falling into place.

My wife and I are leaving Minneapolis after work tomorrow to stay at her parent's in Iowa Wednesday night. Then I'm working a short half day Thursday before leaving for KC to hopefully have a beer in my hand in the P&L by 3PM Thursday. Tickets already purchased; go Cyclones!

Leaving Friday around 2-3 in the afternoon. Why some cold hearted person would schedule a meeting at 1 on a Friday is beyond me.

Thank God we will play at 8 if we win Thursday or I would have been during during the 6 o'clock game.

No tix bought, as much fun we had watching the games at the bars last year it will be hard for me to pull the trigger on buying tix this year.

Looking forward to it regardless!

It seems like most who are going are more excited about drinking than about the actual games, sad.

Hey can I borrow your "excitometer" that you must be using to measure the excitement levels? You have one right, I mean, you wouldn't be basing this off a 33 post thread on the internet right?

There's plenty of time for everything don't be a hater. No one likes a hater.

Partially correct. Excited about watching our games. Excited about drinking through the others and the time leading up to and after our games (and possibly a little during?), but not excited about possibility of drowning sorrows.

Heading down Thursday morning. Some of our group are going to the early session, others will try to sell tickets and hit Power & Light. Thrilled that we have the 6:00 game.

Couldnt get out of work until Friday, hopefully we still have a reason to head south. I am leaving early and therefore will be in KC to drink early.
