We were just down 2 at OSU with about a min left and Hogue took the shot and put us ahead for good. That shot was crucial in that game.
It wasn't a designed play for hogue. Hogue misses that shot people complain y he is taking that and not naz.

Buuuuuuutttt....he didn't. Just like he hasn't missed 45% of the 3's he's taken this year.
Well I thought it was a nice touch since that is a contest recognizing the best 3 point shooters from the season during gameplay and game situations.
If Hogue has his feet set and is squared up, its going in. If he is moving, its not. Simple as that.
Whoever made the original comment was simply asking for clarification about a statement made on Hogue's shooting. He then stated that Hogue was our best shooter (which, based on percentages is true...based on visual observation and perception, is not). Then you took it upon yourself to be a ****** about it. Ya since they're both 6'8 height and the 210-220 weight range... What was I thinking when I compared Yakwe's body length(nothing else) to a small forward that every knows?
Hogue may not be a 3P shooting contest guy or better than Naz, but that does not diminish the thought he is one of our best 3P shooters. Besides Naz, we don't have clear sharpshooters, might as well be Hogue taking it than anyone else. It's why we teeter on not being good enough from outside some games. If Yakwe was shooting as well as Hogue has this year, he would be an undisputed one and done...he still may be.
If you are talking about efficiency then yes. Fred was an effecient Nba player and preaches to take smart shots as a coach which then results to hogue as an effecient player. Does hogue have the same nba 3 point shooting stroke as hogue? I'll let you figure that one out on your own.
I think this team's shooting is actually underrated, particularly compared to last year...
