Which part? I've done the "self-ban" thing myself on occasion. Blasting it to draw attention to myself, well, that's the one particular "look at me!" moment I haven't had on CF so far.

I suck at photoshop but I made a helmet using team colors and a satellite cyclone photo.
And combine that with Amestoplease's uniform design with more color.
My eyes are bleeding!
I like our jerseys. I'll start there. I would change a couple minor things. I think I yellow outline of our logo on the helmet only would be cool. Add an old school yellow stripe down the middle. No stripes on pants and one one each shoulder.
White helmet would be cool but a yellow would be the best (with red accents). There are enough white helmets in our conference.
I wouldn't change everything. Just little things. Just enough that my wife wouldn't notice. If my wife notices I think they have gone too far. The very casual fan measuring stick - my wife.

Its comical how a bunch of fans can come up with 20 better uniforms than Nike was allowed to produce for the Athletics Department.
