They give out discounts in store credit.

And I find their pricing strategy to be very gimmicky overall. Like, if I need something from a lumber yard/hardware store...I probably need it now...not when they throw a gigantic megasale if you can fit it in this bag plus you get a store credit for 5.3% refund in 3 months.

So, if I shop there when something's not on sale...I figure I'm getting plugged from behind on the price.

Quick rundown:

Birdy got some new workout music
I got some sassage inna fridge just chillin
Cowgirl is NOT going to Menards, cuz it's just a store credit
KC's hubby can plow the drive....aaaand other things
Pants is getting his groove back
WXman is now running one of them little towtrucks at the airport
Revkah is the reason we lost cause she hid from the game.
BDK has a very limited music life.
Boxster is denying himself Pie and wine so's he can skinny down for the mexico trip

I'm sure I'm missing some...sup wichoo?

I only talked about the blue shirt. :P

Yeah that was me :( I just don't think what he said was appropriate and I think he shouldn't talk about posters that way. I think mods and site admins should be held to a higher standard.

I've modded other sites and I agree. You can't play at the riff raff's level and then expect to pull the mod card to not receive it back.

But probably enough chat about that.

so far everything seems cheaper at Home Depot, hence wanting to know how Menard's sales work. No Lowe's up here at all. It's kind of odd, actually.

66oz's of beer later and I got through that game. The built in DD was utilized and I didn't get in any fights.

Despite the loss I am happy.

ooof, this show following Jon Stewart. Very overweight lady arguing to a woman in a wheelchair with spinal muscular atrophy that being overweight is a disability in the same way. Wheelchair lady said it's a fine line but at the end of the day she can't go to the doctor and get her inability to walk under control or improve on it.

Other lady is saying how you can't just change your lifestyle and most diets fail. Well yeah, diets fail. Lifestyle changes are what need to happen. No, you don't have to go to Whole Foods to eat well. I won't get into grocery deserts and all that, but yikes. I was feeling sympathetic until trying to say you're on the same level as lady in the wheelchair and arguing that you can't change your lifestyle. Come on now.

When second rate cheap **** will do, go Menards. When something of better quality is needed, go Lowes or Home Depot. Cheap *** one time use tool, Menards. Real tool you are going to use more than a few time than go to other big boxes or even Sears. Of course Sears is a tools only place.

Fresh vegetables, fruit, nuts, protein and tea. Pretty easy.

How's the show in general though? I've wanted to watch it but just haven't had the time. I'm also assuming it'll take some time to get up to speed.

the first few were mostly about race relations/black issues which I'm not as much of the target audience for, but the last couple have been things like tonight's fat acceptance, vaccinations and Chris Kyle last week. The panelist thing he does discussing these controversial issues is interesting. He tries to keep it on the lighter side. I mean, it's growing on me, definitely.

Or depending on the tool, Kmart, since they bought Sears strictly for the rights to the tools.
