New Year Resolutions 2015

I completed some of my goals from last year but with the new job, it kind of cut into some of the free time I had.

Goals for 2015:
Run the Lincoln half and improve my time by 20 minutes
Start training for my first full marathon
Go watch the Cyclones play in Destin, Florida
Cut out sugary drinks and eat healthier in general
Handle stress better and be more positive
Read more, even though I've read more this past year than I ever did in my entire life
Finally learn to play guitar

Edit: Wife and I are going to try to buy a house this year but that's more of a "if everything falls into place" thing (right price, location, etc.)

for those looking at the eating/health thing, try out MyFitnessPal if you haven't already.

This was me during 2013. One of these goals were met, one wasn't. Let you guess which one didn't.

I lost about 5 pounds at college. Going to try to lose another 5 on top of the couple pounds I gained back during being home.:skeptical:

Cyclone National Championship would be nice.

we both done buffed up that year.

a hobby that travels well might be one too. Could make a bucket list of books to read or making it a point to visit well-known or off the beaten path things in the cities you are traveling through.

I already read about a book every two weeks. I did 25 in 2014. That might go up with the travel. And I always try to explore a city when I go there. It should be fun!

For 2015:
successfully finish rehab for the broken foot/ligament tear
resume power walking and do at least 1 5K
learn to snow shoe(that was on the 2014 list, but the foot has prevented that)
do a couple of energy efficiency projects around the house
dispose of the crap I have sitting in bins that I haven't looked at for 11 years (when I moved into the house)
cherish the great people in my life
