NBA Draft 2014

Loves paying taxes?

yeah I think Bucher is reaching on that one. I could see a scenario where Bosh opts out and goes somewhere else, I just don't see that being Toronto. I mean wouldn't a team like Houston or Dallas make a lot more sense given he's from Texas and they'll both have enough cap space to sign him?

I don't see Dallas with Nowitzki and Chandler now but yeah Houston is a perfect fit for him, he would fit great next to Howard.

Just got home a bit ago. Long night at work/kids activities. Everyone else is off to bed so I thought I'd check in. Anyone else love seeing McDermott end up w/ Chicago? IF they land a stud to replace Boozer they will be monsters next year. McDermott hit the jackpot.

Don't need a stud to replace Boozer, they have Taj. They need a small forward that can score.

Not a fan of OKC's draft
Logistically it makes sense. They needed a PF and a SG/SF to strengthen their 2nd line where they came up short this year. Collision can be rotated, and Brooks never seemed to stuck on Sef or Lamb not too mention he ended up pushing Russell over there with Jackson up top. Obvious needs, just not much to pick from this draft at their times.

Yes.

I think he'll stay in Miami on the San Antonio style plan.

They need guys who can space the floor. Either Hood or Hairston could have given them a wing with size who can shoot and can play right away. Adams-Ibaka will be their two bigs on the floor in crunch time next year, they took two PF's.

And if you don't take a shooter, they could have taken Kyle Anderson who is 6'9" and can pass. Their offense just gets so bogged down in the playoffs and they took two guys who have limited offensive skills.

I think they are focused on rotations obviously by those picks. They went PF with McGary and SF with Huestis. McGary will help spread the floor better than Collision on that lineup. I don't know too much about Huestis.
