And why getting Anderson or another post would be big. I think the staff sees more of a wing role for Nader, although he will have to see some time in the Ejim role this year.
Ellenson is very unlikely to come here. He really doesn't mention us much. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. He's a great player, but there will be several very good transfers available between now and then.
We're going to miss out on a lot of these guys right now, it's just the way it is, but while we're missing we're also learning. We won't start landing these top HS guys if we never get the experience of competing with the Dukes of the world in recruiting. I feel it's much more valuable in the long term to the staff to be going up and losing against Duke for (soon to be in Ellenson's case) 5 star recruits than winning recruiting battles against Minnesota, Nebraska, ASU, and Iowa for 3 star guys.
Yes, it is a long shot, which is too bad because I would love to see what we he could do under Fred.
Oh well. A guy like Anderson will have just as big of impact in 2015-2016 imo. I really hope we can get him.

Yeah I've been feeling like we've been out of it for Ellenson and Diallo for a while, if we were ever really in it. I think the recent offers to Esa Ahmad and Ed Morrow reflect more realistic post targets along with Illikainen and Boudreaux. All four look like they'd be good fits at ISU.
Nope. He visited Cal back in the fall but never committed. Besides, Cal's coach retired this offseason so that probably affects any momentum they had.

Can i just say that I love Matt A? I love his attitude when it comes to recruiting. He's a heart on his sleeve guy, and as a fan, I really appreciate that.

If you didn't, find about 20 minutes of free time and search bag man on here. There is a thread with a link. Read that and tell me you're not thinking about RV, UNLV and Cliff Findlay almost the entire time.
