Before the season started people were expecting some kind of a fall off. I think we were spoiled with a amazing start to the season, and now reality is setting in. A very big kink in the armour had been exposed. I think our reputation of hitting tons of 3's helped us score inside early on this season, but teams are figuring how much was lost from last year. All in all I had originally projected 10 wins in conference, and it's still very possible so no reason to panic yet. Make 2 more 3's against KU and we're 15-2, don't turn the ball over 1000 times today and we'er probably even better.

You don't see a decrease in grit, toughness, and teamwork from the start of the season to now? I do.

I don't get the logic of teams are starting to figure us out. Don't think it is a coincidence that the 3 teams we lost to are better than all of our non-conference opponents except for Iowa. We were overrated and the hype got too far. Still a good team though.

I agree. This team doesn't have the dependable 3 point shooters the previous two teams did, and probably not even close. Our top 4 players are rock solid, but we are below at the 5 spot, and the bench is being exposed as average at best as we get into the tough part of the big 12 schedule. The Big 12 is even stronger than many people thought going into the season, and we've just gone thru a very tough part of our schedule. Nothing to panic about but a more realistic expectation for this team is 10-12 wins in the conference, which still gets us into the NCAA. Let's just hope our bench gets better as it did last year and we're playing our best basketball as we go into the tournaments.
