Not certain about that. Fran had them in a position to win, he can't shoot the FTs, they make 1 or 2 more of those and could be a different story and that is a good place to have the team on the road. I will take Fred any day but Fran is good and I think this is going to be a great series for a long time.
Did you bother to watch the game? Iowa missed 4 FT late in the game, that is what cost them. Pretty sure Fran didn't shoot them.
I don't disagree. I just laugh at the posts that think Iowa played their best game and ISU played like crap. It just isn't true.
Who's crying? I said we lost cause we missed FT and pizzed the game down our leg. If you don't know the game of college BB, and don't realize a home court advantage is usually because the home team gets more calls, then I don't know how else I can help ya champ.
Its easier to make excuses. ISU didn't play its best game, but it did finish the game. That's Iowa's problem, not the refs or whatever else they want to point fingers at.
You are correct but his D gave up 8 points late in the game. They get one stop and the game is also over.
After the buzzer sounded tonight against Iowa, Fran the chair thrower ran out onto the court, chasing a referee. An Ames cop went out and grabbed Fran's arm and led him back to the sidelines, just in time to start shaking hands with ISU. Those of you that watched on TV might not have seen it but it did happen.
All day long, as I was working around the house in the afternoon, all I heard on KXNO sports show, was how confident the Iowa fans were about burying ISU with all their shooters, how they were much deeper than ISU, and that they were the better team.
Guess WHOSE bench Gary Dolphin, the only non alcoholic announcer that Iowa has, said contributed more points in the game. Just a clue, it wasn't Iowa.

I will say that Aaron White is one of the sneakiest and most deceptive players I've ever seen. He doesn't look very athletic, but he's deceptively athletic and knows enough on how to get open. Won't be an NBA player but will probably do alright in Europe.
What trash? Gave ISU kudos for winning, called Iowa out for choking down the stretch, which they did.
