Of course you are! You just keep giving and giving to us. How did you ever get so interested in doing this sort of research?

And are you going to have any more throwback shirts for us? I would love to see a Jack Trice shirt designed by you.

Short answer: I'm inspired by my grandpa's campfire stories. I'm working on a longer story coming out later this month that looks at Jack's life and number discovery through the prism of my grandpa's influence on Kagavi. Isn't the legend of Jack Trice the kind of story that you would gather the kids around the blazing campfire and share? The values are timeless.

Fall collection has five shirts I designed to be "of the era" between 1895-1920s and a blanket. I tried my best to create unique throwback items that "could've existed" during the era. I will use this collection as an excuse to tell more ISU stories through the fall. A couple weeks to go...

Sort of answers...

Earlier here was a picture from J.Kagavi on pg 36 w some other colors:

...And the current I-State logo technically has two shades of red and two shades of yellow/gold, unfortunately seems like we've gravitated back to the ketchup and mustard over the last couple years. Here are the RGBs for the two darker shades, might be close to the colors you are asking about:

Does anyone know what "reserve has not been met" means? I have the high bid and I got an email on the auction bid history where it told me this.

Reserve is the max price of the item listed. Lets say the item has a reserve of 100.00 and your starting bid is 50.00... if the auction ends and you are the only person who bid on the item, you DO NOT win the auction. You must reach the reserve in order to win the item.

Example of Reserve Not Met: "A seller lists an item with a starting bid of $1.00 and a reserve of $100.00. Bidder A bids $1.50. The current bid increases to $1.50 but the reserve isn't met. If nobody else places a bid, Bidder A does not win the item."

Another example: Lets say you bid on an item and the reserve is set at 150.00... If your max bid is 250.00 and no ones bids on the item, you WIN the item for the 150.00 price !

Well, looks like I'll have to find a new number to bid on.

ha, the one I bid on says that too. Wonder if they messed up or if you really need to shell out money to get one.
