So there is still no confirmation on which game these would be used for correct? (Speculating either Iowa or Texas)
Aren't these kind of dark for a "home" jersey? I know that can be worked out with the opposing team, but based on the fact they are dark, are we sure these would even be used for a home game and not an away game?

Maybe you are confusing sports, but the home team in football wears the dark jersey.

must be legit as I see the Jack Trice logo on the sleeve and that would be very hard to put into a mock up by a fan.

It's a fan concept by Cyclone Uniforms on Twitter as seen here: https://twitter.com/CycloneUniforms/status/359371585246883840/photo/1

I asked them to mock it up with the original five stripes, which they did here:

However, those stripes were far too tight and sharply angled, so I countered with these two mocks that reflect Jack Trice's uniform exactly in terms of stripe spacing and angle:

I guess I'm oldschool then. When I grew up, shorts were actually shorts, they weren't potato sacks. The "baggy" look was coming in when I was high school, so much so that the basketball uniform I wore my sophomore year were the oldschool "John Stockton" shorts. The shorts on my varsity uniform the next year were all the way to my knees.

Personally, I hate the baggy look and spend extra time online looking for shorts with 5" or 6" inseams. Most shorts these days are 10" or 11" by default.

As long as the helmets are brown with a faux leather texture painted on them I don't care what color the jerseys are.

The first one by Cyclone Uniforms is just plain dirty.

Josh, that last one with the ISC (Iowa State College) logo on the sleeve w/ the 3-stripes is still bad***! Please begin production on those! Would buy in a heartbeat!

I think the only real solution to future uniform threads is to identify a Fanatic going to ISU, change their major to Textiles/Clothing, and get an internship at Nike and report secret info. Someone fall on the sword for us all.

im pretty sure that ISC logo didnt come out until years after jack trices death.

A common misconception. The trademark office had the date as 1930 for that logo, but that was an error. The logo has been in use since the early 1900s. Here's a picture of a Ames/ISC football game in 1908. Look at the bottom left corner. Athletic Field, 1908 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

EDIT: No idea what's going on with that empty thumbnail.

That field needed a SEZ too.
