Why does everyone want this kid? 3star outa HS, kicked off (or asked not to return) of Marshall, missed his first year because of grades (and then managed to graduate easily). Played poor teams and when played decent teams, got killed. cant shoot FT, cant shoot 3's, poor fg%. Wears a high number (#50) as a guard which makes me think that he might be crazy.

I've never seen this guy play and don't know anything about him but just looking at his stats his FG%, 3PT%, and FT% got worse every year...and 3PT% and FT% not really impressive for a combo guard...
If he comes to ISU hopefully his downward trend stops...
It does look like he's a scorer though based on his scoring avg...wait...I'm supposed to be Debbie Downer...

Averaged 7 assists last year and we don't have a PG with experience coming back next year. (sorry Bubu)
I could not care less about his PPG and shooting. The kid looks to pass, rebound, and defend. Plus he has 3 years experience versus the ZERO we currently have. I'd love this pickup
EXPERIENCE! We don't want to throw Freshman guards out to the wolves and go .500 this year.
He also completely demolished his locker room. His teamates said either he goes or we all go and the coach said bye bye to Kane instead of finding a bunch of walk ons. I get the whole we helped royce/royce helped us thing but this guy is pretty much a grenade.
Yeah he must not be that good if he had offers from Pitt and Marquette out of high school and then has interest from Pitt, Memphis, USC and St Marys since he left Marshall...but then again Fred isn't a very good judge of talent probably just saw the PPG and offered him a visit
Not only that but it seems like he can play off the ball as well. It would be nice to have multiple guys on the floor who can handle the ball.
He has three years of collegiate PT and you are worried about his star rating coming out of high school.
Kane had the 9th best assist rate in entire country last year, though his overall ORtg was less than 1. If he takes advantage of the shooters CFH can put around him, would be a great get.

If Fred meets with him and doesnt think he will do what he has done at marshall (implode the team and divide the fanbase) then i'm fine with him.
