Coach Klenakis

Wow. That is an incredible amount of energy. He works every bit as hard as the players. Very demanding, but also very encouraging. If he doesn't bring the best out of the guys, I don't know what will. And nice to hear him speaking well of Coach Bleil.

I was impressed with his resume, and that vid is pretty intense, and I think he'll be great. I just can't get 'Cletus the slack-jawed yokel' out of my head when he talks. But, now, he's our yokel. Again, nothing against him, I like the hire, he's been there and done that.

That guy really excites me with whats possible on the line play...he seems like a really great teacher of the position. With the RBs ISU has this COULD be the running game Rhoads needed to have last year. He does reminds me of the character that was the hick rapist from the green mile...with his southern dialect.

This guy seems like a good kick to the pants for the O-line, and they certainly needed it based on how bad the run blocking was at times.

I did like the theory of the pistol and not showing your hand...the 1 back zone read does tip your hand a little as the defense knows which way the RB is heading if he gets the ball.

If he can get the lineman that intense, watch out cause they could be some good ones. Love the intensity and seems like a perfect fit for CPR and staff. Glad we were able to pick him up!!

LOL . . . You and OOClone were both being complimentary (I think) - but given the way you did it I hope you never compliment me!!

I just hope Coach K is in good physical condition. I'm sure he is, but I'd be concerned about him collapsing out there expending that much energy.

I loved it when he reminded the player that the PVC pipe contraption was there for a reason, and that is to keep you staying low. Then he said that if there was electricity running through it they would never make the same mistake twice. That was classic!

Yes, I like the guy, and I feel guilty, I just can't help it.

*minor detail, 00clone, not OOclone. Not being picky, just a little creeped out thinking of people in their minds referring to me as OOClone, which sounds a little pervy.

:pwink:

He said he used to have one with electricity running thru it.
