I just watched Bill Fennelly's interview after the Baylor game, and the guy really made me proud. I like how he took blame for the loss, and stood up for his players. Great guy, great university, and Bill is a real credit to the University. I tried to watch the Baylor stuff, and couldn't get through it. Maybe someday........

Watch the players too. That's even more impressive to me. If I were one of them, I'd want to say thank god I don't have to see Griener anymore. But those girls stood up and said nothing but good things about Baylor. We should all be proud that they represent Iowa State.

I would say good things about Baylor in an interview too. I just save my problems for the forum. I have been watching all these kids over the years, and they are all great kids. Anna and Pop, I don't even want to mention how much I will miss them.

Does anyone know, does Nikki Moody have roots in Iowa? Does anyone know how they got her to come here?

I know for sure that she has relation that lives in Des Moines, one of them works at the same company I work at.

She was born in Des Moines. That's about all I know of her ties to the state. Not sure how she and her family ended up in Texas.

I am saying that because I knew a Moody family, in fact, he was my wrestling coach while I was growing up. I thought I heard that she had ties here, and wondered if there was a relationship. I may try to figure it out, shouldn't be too hard.

This is why Iowa State fans love their women's basketball so much. Sure, there's great play on the floor -- we've seen some amazing athletes and unmatched work ethic over the years -- but they're so much more than just basketball players. It's easy to cheer on good people.
