McGee as starter vs Okie State

But if he starts then there can't be any more threads about whether he should start or not!!!!!

whatever happens please dont rush if we win. please please please.

If would be sort of cool to start a unique tradition - like maybe everyone gets on the hardwood, but not on the inbounds area... Like toes on the baseline/ sidelines all the way around. ...just something different. ...just thinking out loud.

I don't know how you can't start him after the last game. ISU would have lost by 30 without him. He was the only guy that could make a shot.

I would like to see him come off the bench. Bring him in by himself and he will get the ovation he deserves. Even though its unlikely I hope we have a comfortable lead with some time left on the clock so we can send these guys off the right way.

I thought on the call in show someone asked if he would start because it was senior night and CFH said nope. Maybe I misheard the exchange.

They should announce seniors instead of the starting lineup, and then do whatever strategy Fred thinks is best for the actual starters. Which likely means using McGee as a spark.

Seriously, who are you taking out of the starting lineup to put McGee in, the big 12 leading rebounder, the center, or one of the other three senior starters?

I think he should come off the bench like he always does. The way he has embraced his 6th man role the past two season is inspiring, to say the least. Let McBeth and Booker start. Call a timeout 1 min in. Bring in McGee alone for McBeth. Give McGee the lone standing ovation he deserves. Then sub in Niang and Ejim at the next dead ball or when ever.

Mcgee can start, everybody knows that, but its what hes done coming off the bench that makes him awesome. Let him go out of Hilton the same way he came in.

Are you serious? Do you know how many times this season during the course of a game that Ejim or Niang has been out and Mcgee is in along with the other starters. It's not like starting him would be any different.

If we were already in the Tournament I would be all for starting the Seniors, but we need this win and I say we go with what works and that is McGee off the bench. We can't afford to **** around.
