hILTON mAGIC IS SO CLOSE TO BEING BACK i CAN TASTE IT!!!!

Thought the crowd was awesome. The fans can't make the free throws for them

it was and it wasnt.

when did it become acceptable to leave a 3 pt game with 22 seconds left? or a 6 pt game with 330 left? my buddies need a a bucket of water to put me out, i was steamed! thats just pathetic

As an old-timer, remember when guy, I thought overall the crowd was very good. The last 5 minutes when we needed stops it was loud. The team just didn't get it done.

Also liked the extra encouragement after Melvin dove for a loose ball, McGee block the three, Babb made a hustle play, etc. in the first half. Those types of plays should be rewarded.

The thing us old timers tend to forget is for every big upset we pulled we did lose some too. Those just fade to black over time.

We're gonna get at least one this year at home. Circle January 28th vs. KU....I think that will be it. Then young and old can hold a mutual admiration party and pat each other on the back for a job well done.

Crowd seemed better than it has been in years passed for the most part, although yeah...could have been a little better I thought on TV. It seemed as if we had no energy, even in the beginning of a mini comeback.

I remember being in the student section and we were loud all the time if we were within 10 points...but that's what I got from the TV. I'm sure it was different in real life..

Compared to the old days, yeah the crowd actually did suck. The difference was back then the crowd got the team going and today the crowd waits for the team to do something or relies on the team to get them (the crowd) going. Ironically, it is the old folks that sit on their dead @$$es and won't stand up and raise hell. I thought the students were okay, but again a ton of empty seats in the balcony.

I was there last night, and I experianced the magic from past years. Last night was not quite there, close like at half when Scotty nailed the 3/4 court bomb. Mizzo just hit every shot when the crowd got into it at the defensive end. That was a good "TEAM" that beat us by doing all of the little things right. That being said if the defense had gotten a few stops I think the place would have exploded. We had the more talanted team on the floor but not the smarter team. I'm not a big fan of down by 4 with 3 mins left and letting Royce drive and draw contact. That happened twice he missed 3/4 free throws and they scored a 3 and a 2 to make it an 8 point game. That pretty much sealed the game. That being said we are going to beat some top teams this year, make the tourny and be a sweet 16 team.

Many of today's students that attend basketball games only know Hilton Magic by the word, not the experience. When was the last time we've ever put together a complete season that meant something? It certainly didn't happen while I was a student there. Give the Magic a little time to build into our student body once again...they'll understand what it means soon enough.
