I don't really care if anyone believes me. The good news is Herman was still recruiting for ISU last week, even though he has know for a couple weeks that he was out.

Why would CPR want him recruiting if he was going to fire him or already had fired him?

I think most of you realize that so your bashing him becasue you know it. Also it seems like alot of you have unrealistic expectatios. Iowa st is a wrestling school first and foremost always will be. So expecting anything more than what he did with what he had is just crazy. You can argue the big 12 was the best confrence this season and you could also argue that iowa st has maybe the worst talent in the big 12 in the bottom 3 or 4 at the very least. So a bowl game and a win over okie st is pretty damn good if you ask me. As mentioned earlier this offense was one of the best in years. So all this stuff bout him not being a good coach and it was time for him to go is crazy talk iowa st was a big 12 break up away from being in the mountain west. I think alot of people need to temper there expectations iowa st will never be a powerhouse in football. So you should be happy with bowl games and the ocasional flash in the pan season

2. I don't see much bashing. Confusion by some over the move? Yes.
3. If we are still a wrestling school first we're ****ed. It's changed. A small rabid minority care about wrestling. We may not be a football powerhouse but football is king.
4. A bowl game and the win over OSU are great. More to come.

Ive said it once i will say it again florida fans are acting like a girl that got dumped by her dude for a better girl. Toxic to the bcs? Last time i checked tosu has been to and won more bcs games than anybody. You say osu is washed up but last time i checked we had the same record? The one difference is we just hired a coach that one 2 national titles and you guys hired a coach that prolly couldnt coach his way to a big east title. As for the sanctions just arent gonna happen tosu is just too big and has too much push for that to happen

Sorry I'm late to the party, but I think I may be of some assistance. I'm pretty good at NCAA12. Offense is definitely my forte. The last 3 years I've been playing online and I've been in the top 20 in the world all 3 years. I stopped playing this year's game for a while when the PS3 network had all those problems, but before that I was 4th in the world in scoring. I have confirmed with a source at Iowa State that Tom Herman will be named offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Ohio State.

Looks like its a lateral move to a much more prestigious program.

Well, I think it says more about his confidence as a coach, imo. If I were interviewing, my first question would be, "Why did you take that demotion back in '11? Seems like you guys were on the right track in a tough place to win, yet you left to take a demotion?"

In the end, it's probably better that he left now, while JB is still young and we have some younger receivers rather than doing this next year. I know I'm going to get blasted for this, but if anyone wants to review my posts, I was never overly impressed with what he was doing here. And questioned on many ocassions weather or not he was right for this job. Next year is a "Could have been" now, which we'll never know. But personally, I don't think he'll be missed all that much.

no reason you should be blasted. Our offense has been avg at best... Did look a lot better this year though, so never know what it would have been down the road. ISU will be fine. Teams lose OCs all the time. I dont know why he would take a qb coaching job, but im sure hell do an interview and tell us.
