Wish we coulda got more than 1. Gonna need more than that. And I hate that Carp didn't at least let Halladay throw 3 pitches to him. Pitch count already high.
If they can't keep the phillies in the park we are screwed. Gotta make them string hits together.
Yeah I was about to post the same thing. Utley and Victorino are the only 2 I'm worried about (obviously I could be wrong, but they looked the best at the plate).
Agree, Howard does not scare me right now. I have full faith in Carp to get it done. I don't know what it is but I like are shot at this point.
You know, for as much as the NL Central has been maligned over the past few years, wouldn't it be incredible if the Cards win and meet the Brewers in the NLCS? I'm not a Cards fan, for obvious reasons, but they sure have looked like a totally different team this September (& October).
Does Halladay stay in after this? Holliday can't see his pitches for crap. He looks bad at the plate.
Agreed, especially now that it's MIL vs. either STL or PHI.
Seriously, though, Miller and Busch are easily my two favorite baseball venues in the country, so even having a shot at watching the Cards in the NLCS in either stadium is awesome.

Molina is the best. Ive been convinced for a while now. His bat is just a plus...and he is clutch. Amazing arm, though.
