Is there a way, besides Itunes, to get movies to your Ipad to watch. Can you download Hulu videos to take with you. I am just looking, for when I travel, to watch tv shows and videos. I don't care if there is a subscription, I will pay for it, but I just need to find a place to download them.

I don't know about downloading from Hulu, but there is a free program called DVDFab that can convert standard DVDs to iPod/iPad format. I told a lady at work about this and that's all they do now to get videos on their iPad. When they go on trips she loads a bunch of movies on it and puts in the back seat for the kids.
DVDFab also has the ability to convert blurays but I think you have to get the paid version for that.
