See what happened to Utah when they played us for football for an explanation of this one. Or you could try thinking about the logic of a bunny with a pancake on its head. Both of those give the same amount of reasonable explanation.
What are you talking about? This makes perfect sense.

If I had the power to vote I'd put us at #1. And then throw darts for the next 24.Wouldn't you occasionally just pick the last 5 by throwing darts at a list of schools if you had the power to vote?

After removing Iowa I hope... wouldn't want to risk them getting a vote.
Have you watched the top 25 scores for the last few weeks? These teams barely beat teams you've never heard of. We will get some votes. And this is why most people don't have a vote.
Going back, we were coming off a very good win and 1, 1 person gave us A vote. There are plenty of other teams that are playing just as well, if not better than us that deserve to get put in the top 25. I just seriously doubt we're going to get votes this week. If we beat UNI, Iowa, Virginia, and Cal... then I think we'll be a legit contender for some votes... but so far, we've played a Creighton team that's picked to be 4th-ish in the Missouri Valley and... nobody else.
Sorry, just trying to be a little realistic here.
I thought technically it was a home game? And I would rather have no votes right now until we really see what we've got. I would rather build up over a season than be way over-rated then get crushed over and over.Looks to me like we got 1 vote again.
I did notice in the RPI detail about ISU that they say the Creighton game was at home instead of at a neutral site. I don't know how much difference that makes or how to call anyone's attention to it.

espn has their polls screwed up then. it says week 3 (nov. 28)

That would be great, and we would deserve more votes, but I doubt we get near enough for beating those two mediocre teams.I still don't think we deserve a ranking (but votes) this week. If we win on the road against UNI and at home against Cal then we will end up 8-0 and about 23rd one week from now. Its going to be a tough week though. It will be hard to slow expectations if we get through this week 2-0.....
