NFL: **** NFL draft thread *****

and for all................

weak, weak dialogue and rebuttal, but mostly what I expected..........

1st………You completely and totally missed the point and I sense it may be lost on you forever, but I’ll try again. From site to site they change their mind on what a kids strengths and weaknesses are……………………..

here is an excerpt on Edds from somewhere lese and I can find as many of these as you want……….

“â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€2. A.J. Edds (Iowa)

From a physical stand point, there are other linebackers that should (and could) be taken above Edds. However, he still has solid athleticism and speed (as well as excellent size), and is quite possibly the most cerebral strong side linebacker in the draft.

He is as sure of a tackler as they come, and his combine could go a long way in proving whether or not he belongs ranked at the second spot in the 4-3 linebacker rankings.â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€

2nd your rhetoric and ability to debate is exceptionally poor………….This NEVER works, “anyone who knows anything, knows this†really?!?!? That’s a child argument………….or how about………â€scouts would laugh out loud, really?!?!?â€

3rd I’m not prone to homerism and there are many on here I think would support that.

4th I never tried to say he was a fast incidentally and I don’t think either are as fast as Angerer, but it is worth noting Texas DID NOT ask Kindle to o what Edds did and that is cover Slot Receivers in space on a constant basis. It is highly debatable he has the hip swivel to do it and that has nothing to do with 40-yard dash times.

Finally I’d love to engage you in an open forum, as it wouldn’t be pretty.

Good day……………

Chad

Chill out, tough guy. Might be a good idea if you both just dropped all the posturing.

You are a *******. Forty times are a joke. They don't mean ****. If you think Edds is just as fast and quick as Sergio Kindle, you are a moron. You don't know **** about speed. When you are running straight ahead as fast as you can with no pads on, no helmet, and nothing to get in your way, anyone can post a solid forty time. He is limited on athletic ability. You don't know **** about speed or 40 times pal. Saying he is as fast as Sergio Kindle when anyone who as seen them both play knows that Edds is not near as quick as Kindle. You sound like a typical homer that goes along with all teams, especially teams that are in this state. Any scout in the NFL or college level that read what you posted, would laugh out loud reading it. You need to think before you engage me ****** bag.

We got ourselves a live one!!!!

This is for my old friend from Mike Mayock………………….

""""""""""""The way I look at Sergio Kindle is he’s a fantastic athlete coming forward. He’s explosive and quick. I don’t like him quite as much in space, but he’s going to be a first-round pick coming off the edge."""""""""""""""""

As I said these guys all over the place and for the record, Kindle and Edds are two different players with two different skill sets. No way Edds can rush the passer like Kindle and no way Kindle can play in space and “cover” like Edds.

Tough guy?!?!?! I'm talking about matching wits, not fists and calling each other names.

Chad

If I live to be 200, I don't think I could possibly come across another phrase that meets this level of ridiculous :biglaugh::biglaugh:

Scouts Inc (ESPN) not Scout.com. You must be another goon who thinks forty times matter. If you watch Edds, it is obvious that he has average speed. Doesn't mean that he won't be a solid NFL player, just means he doesn't have good football speed. Forty times are a joke. You obviously don' know **** about speed if you think Edds is fast, or you have never watched an Iowa game before.

Edds is just as fast, if not faster than Chad Greenway, and Greenway seems to be doing all right these days.

Yeah, forty times don't matter:jimlad:

They definately matter. They aren't a complete measure of playing speed but they most certainly are a measure of potential speed. If you think they don't matter, you have no credibility. I am not saying they are the end all be all, but they do matter.

Edds and Kindle are also not the same type of player.

Seriously, ellipses are three dots...although I suppose you could be needing to think or pause extra long for thought or reflection since your posts usually come out with something plainly idiotic.

But please, do not take offense to this. I absolutely don't want you engaging me in a public forum.

Fortunately most don't agree with that. And this last statment is quite funny, I assume that's what you were going for. Incidentally in hind sight it appears others might think what he said was plainly idiotic.

Chad

Why do you sign all of your posts? I could really care less what your first name is.

Well it seems that's not accurate at all, as it appears you would just as soon I don't. Not sure really why, but I do realize I appear to annoy some people. Usually for something more significant than that though.

Chad,

Um...what? You're right, people turn to you because you are a beacon of rational thought and are noted for your reasonable opinions.:jimlad: As far as your last sentence, I have no freakin' clue what any of that non-sensical babble was meant to say.

Nice try but it makes no sense.

I guess complex words aren't for everyone.

Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland said that fourth-round pick A.J. Edds should see time immediately on third downs.

You should probably look back over my musings. Your making yourself look silly. I get along with folks quite well. Those that are reasonable and think things through clearly. Just because you don't want it t be so doesn't make it true.

On the other hand there are handful of folks just like you that I really irritate. That doesn't make ME irrational however. Fortunately there are more of the others.
