:cry::cry::cry:It's dead now. Cashman went to the Cubs about Zambrano, and it wasn't a fit. He then went to the Braves and picked up Vazquez.
:cry::cry::cry:
Cashman has made some boneheaded moves. This one isn't quite as boneheaded as Zambrano, but this is still beyond stupid.Yeah, I would have thought Cashman learned his lesson on that.

Zambrano for Cabrera or Gardner? No way. I'll drive down to Chicago and personally beat Hendry if he makes that trade. That deal maybe makes sense if the Yankees throw in Hughes and Chamberlain.
I still hate Nick Swisher. He should've been finding bench all of October.He did take advantage of Kenny Williams when he was hell bent on moving Nick Swisher for a pack of expired Big League Chew.
That made me laugh, I think you overestimate Zambranos Value a little bit there
Might be good? Joba and Hughes have both been excellent as relievers. Joba's hit or miss when he starts, and I can't recall Hughes ever starting for an extended amount of time at the major league level.I think you've bought into the ESPN hype of Yankee prospects. Zambrano for a platoon-quality OF plus two middle relievers who might be good someday sounds like a fair trade to me. Of course it's all moot now.
