How many of you thought ISU was going to find a way to lose the Nebraska game? The whole 4th qtr I was getting ready to get my heart stomped on once again. What a game out of the Clones, I still cannot believe they won that. That game shows we maybe entering a new era of Cyclone FB.

I'll admit...once NU got the ball back with two minutes to go I thought the game was all but over. When Jesse Smith picked that pass off I literally feel to the floor like I'd just won the lottery...pounding the floor, I really didn't even know how to handle it.

I had this dull ache forming in my mid section like i had been kicked in the juevos most of the 3rd quarter.....but after the 7min drive in the fourth it started to go away. and by the end of the game i forgot what it had ever felt like to be kicked in the balls

I am surprised no one called the cop on me yelling like a maniac by myself watching the game.

I yelled so loud i think i almost made my dog poop himself

Never was I really confident, to be honest. Hate to admit that, but for the love of everything it seems like nothing goes ever goes are way. This aint the Cyclones of old though, they are playing with confidence and more determination than I have see.

I seriously starting thinking in the 4th quarter about posting a thread saying "The year that might have been..." talking about how close we were to a decent record. But, I'm very glad I didn't have to.

Gotta keep the faith! Go Cyclones!

Haha yes the thought did cross my mind at halftime that we weren't out of the woods yet. The best part was seeing grown men cry they were so happy

would anyone have been surprised if iowa state showed up and gotten beat 31-10?

They were so banged up- backs against the wall- but they won

I think everyone had it in the back of their minds. We've been so close so many times and let it slip away, but those days are in the past. I think all of us can say that if we're in the same position next week, the players, the coaches, and all of cyclone nation will have a new feeling that we aren't so accustomed to..... confidence.

I Believe!

I honestly thought NU was going to drive down the field and kick a FG for the win. When Jesse intercepted that pass I was soo happy I was literally shaking and didn't know what to do with myself.

not at all. If A-Rob\Arnaud are in next week, and we'd lost this game, we couldve chalked it up to those two being out and moved on.

I had a girl texting me when she was watching the GameCast on ESPN. They couldn't refresh it fast enough for me.

I dropped the f-bomb several times before I could gain my composure. Then I stopped and listened to my neighbors yell for a good 5 minutes. Then I listened to the guy across the street scream for a while. It was awesome.
