I think bigcojones is suggesting someone try registering a single log-in that can be used by a large group of friends who happen to frequent a online sports message board, and see if all these friends could use it at the same time. :yes:

While on your home connection, log into your ESPN.com account, then head to ESPN360.com and click on REMOTE ACCESS. You will be prompted to sync your ESPN.com account to activate the feature. Then, when you're away from home, just log into ESPN.com and you'll be able to see the 3,000+ yearly events on ESPN360.com!
So I think for people with a non-affiliated ISP, you would need to take your laptop to a friend's house that has Mediacom, for example, bring up www.espn360.com , register by creating an ESPN account (upper right hand corner), then click on Remote Access while you're on their ISP which will sync your login to their ISP. Then if you take your laptop back home, I believe you will be able to go to the website, login (that's a critical step), click Remote Access and I think you'll have full access. If someone gets this to work or if I'm incorrect, please post a message for the benefit of others.

I don't think you have to take your computer to the location that has the affiliated ISP. You simply need to register for an account on a computer connected to that ISP, then log in to that account wherever you're at when you want to use 360.
I just tried doing this from the log in information that was provided and wasn't able to get connected to 360
The log in information I gave was registered through a college campus, and not an approved ISP. It may be that registration has to be from an approved ISP only. But I am not sure.
I tired as well. I was able to sign on, but I couldn't access the video (same screen pop up as always). Did the creator of the account take the necessary steps to enable the Remote Log-In? Seems like that is the key I am reading. If that is set up, I have no idea.
This might have to do with you being on a college campus. I don't know what ISP Iowa State uses, and it might be set up to where they have access regardless. If that is true then it might not have the option for remote access. I would be interested to see if it works from someone using Mediacom.
But again, "enabling remote access" is the key for this whole thing to work...however that may be.
I am on Time Warner too. But I created an account at work, and synchronized with the Remote Access feature, so hopefully I can now log in at home. Will try it out tonight.
