Bud Light likes Iowa State?

Behind a guy in Ames HyVee yesterday who bought six cases. Wonder if he cleaned them out?

I picked up a few of these over the weekend while camping. I havent seen them anywhere in the Ames/ Des Moines market.

Picked some up at Target on the 141 Curve in NW Des Moines last night...they aren't terribly visable but look around the registers on the north end..Lots of B/G ones but not many C/G left.

There were some at WalMart in Ames earlier this week as well as Target in Ames.

Various gas stations around Ames still have some left too.

Are you guys talking about the cooler or the cans??? That cooler is bad ***!

:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

That was my probably my dad, I was standing right by him too.

He bought them because it's my parents 30th anniversary party this weekend (Sunday), he also bought 6 cases of MGL the next day :notworthy:

We are having a huge "tailgate" style party in our back yard and there are supposed to be family and friends coming. I believe the rsvp list is over 100.

Where did the whole cooler thing come from anyway??? I've known about the cans for some time, but just heard of that today.

Ok after doing some recon in Ames, I'm sorry to say that I was unable to find the coveted Bud Light Cardinal and Gold cooler. I was actually quite disappointed with the tailgating/ISU displays in all the stores I visited other then West Hy Vee.

For those of you looking for the cans still for tommorow, this is what I found:

Wal-Mart on Grand - none
Cub Foods - about 30 cases split between the shelves and the cold room
East Hy-Vee - none
Cyclone Liquors - none
Target - none
Super Wal-Mart (Duff) - none
West Hy-Vee - none
Hy-Vee Wine and Spirits - none
Kum & Go (Lincoln Way and South Dakota) - about 90-100 cases

I'd guess the other Kum & Go on South Dakota near HWY 30 probably has some cans left as well, as the last time I was in there they probably had around 200 cases.

Just got back from picking up 16 cases at the Somerset Fareway for 15.99 each. Not a bad price, and if your a hawk fan :skeptical: looking for some black/gold cans they also have about 3 cases of those left there too.

I found the coolers at a tiny Hy-vee in Eldora last weekend while I was at pine lake camping. It seemed odd that I'd never seen any in Ames or Des Moines. I may have a few left if your willing to fight over them, pm me.

Just bought some at Jordan Creek Hy-Vee. The guy in the liquor department told me that everyone is on their last cases of the special cans. They got a pallet last night with 70 cases and they only have 30 or so left. He said they will be gone today, so no more cans.

He also mentioned that ISU sales were triple what Iowa sales were...
