Wow…. what a clueless post. A very selfish post honestly.Do you know something about why Pollard announced his retirement today, facts not conjecture? If not then it doesn't matter. I just find it funny that a person spends years getting a project up and finally being built, then walks away before it's even close to being completed. I guess I am jaded enough in my 60s to understand that generally there is a reason something happens like this, and it's not that they were ready to retire before the project is finished.
As for Jefferson, they showed him out shooting on the floor, the day of the game. No he was not going to be at 100%, but when your best player and future first round draft pick is not able to play, its hard to say he would not have made a difference if he had played.
“Why isn’t JP staying longer like I want him too…. and btw…. why didn’t JJeff tough it out so I could celebrate an ISU Final Four run to?!?”
There’s numerous great reasons for JP to retire…. and he deserves it…. and definitely doesn’t have to answer to any of us idiots on here. And I hate it when people judge athletes’ toughness or the severity of their injury…. you have no flipping clue how he feels. Man…. just ticks me off. Go away. People retire, and athletes get injured…. it’s called LIFE!!
