That is very true, and after looking at the reaction score in your profile it's clear there aren't many people who agree with your opinions in general.Wrong. But nice try. We can all have an opinion and not agree, it’s ok.

Good riddance.
I really hope that is all it is, and that he sails off into retirement and has a long life. I just find it strange that he worked so hard getting Cy Town from the drawing board to the construction phase and then decided it was time to call it a career without seeing the project through. Most people would like to have that final victory lap before they go out the door and tell everyone "this is what I did for you and the university."
It takes a village but what's the before/after image of Jack Trice stadium in 2004 and now?
While success helps the brand I also feel like he had a hand in ISU being a bit more of a 'name' in his time.
He has hated JP for years, par for the course. What the....????
FYI - She has been unhappy with JP over the handling of the W GYM program. This is how someone would say "I've only been around since the start of the Campbell era and don't truly understand how college athletics work" without saying it.
People can take issue with some of his policies, I suppose, but I don't know how anyone can be unhappy with the results. He hired the best football coach in school history, the two best basketball coaches, and we've basically been in the greatest era for Iowa State sports ever.He has hated JP for years, par for the course.
It’s been said Athletics plays a big role in general enrollment of the university.
Enrollment growth at Iowa State during Pollards tenure: 24 percent.
At University of Iowa during the same time 4 percent.
Barta didn’t leave much of a legacy.
Sure did, and he chose not too, never had surgery that others said he was going to need, and we lost the game. In my line of thinking if you can go out and warm up, then at least give it a try. He chose not too, it's his decision.Iirc you also thought J Jefferson should have just toughed it out and would have been a difference maker in his condition like other athletes with way lesser injuries.
So...
