RTT...20-20 hindsight.

………..??
A thermometer that hooks to the side of a steel pot for deep frying. It's about half the price of the same thing at Kroger's. There's a couple of other things I would have picked up there that I can't get at Kroger's

One of those days. Everything just going wrong.
Ordered a prescription refill yesterday from Hy-Vee using their automated system. Said it would be ready to pick up after 3:00 today. I had some errands to run today and would have done them in the morning, but decided on afternoon to allow me to pick up the prescription.

At Hy-Vee at 3:30. Got to the front of the long line. Not there. Should be into tomorrow morning. The guy said, "yeah, our automated system is not very good."

GRRRRrrrrrrr

So, for those of you who remember him, we had a lovely dinner with Pants tonight here in Baltimore. He's looking good, loves Maryland, job is going well, and everything else is good. We are working on getting to come for a football game or basketball game this coming season. It was so great seeing him again!

The wedding I attended this weekend had a drunk bus to get the guests from the reception back to their hotel.
We had that a couple of years ago but did not use it. Should have but it was here in CR so we figured why spend the money. Open bar on NYE...

Got a 1962 unminted (Philadelphia) silver quarter today.
Never have heard the term "unminted" for no mint mark.

They minted a ton of quarters in 1962, more in Denver than Philly (~36 million). Unless it is in an exceptional condition it is probably worth no more than the value of the silver content - still more than face value.

After nothing for what seemed like a month (well, some sprinkles every week or so) we ended up with over 2" in the last two days.
15 miles away in Muscatine, we got nothing on Sunday and 1" Monday. Better than nothing, but I would welcome more rain.
