Kyle Busch Dies at 41

Surprising and sad. I'm not much of a race fan but I did see him win in Newton when the Nationwide series was there.

Rumor is that his appendix burst and he went septic.

Just so, so sad. Just unthinkable.

I tried to gut the pain out for nearly 24 hours before getting my appendix removed and the Dr. told me bad things would have happened if I waited too much longer. I used to think 40s was old, but dang 41 way too young. Left his mark on racing for sure.

My appendix broke in the process of the operation to remove it and I got sick as a dog, 6 days in the hospital.

Similar to me. I was 16 and thought I had bad food poisoning over the weekend as I was pretty sick. Ended up going to the doctor on Tuesday morning as I wasn't getting better. It must have ruptured that day. 7 days in the hospital and another week or so with a drainage thing to deal with infection.

Same with me about a year ago. My appendix was the largest one my surgeon took out of someone lol. I was about an hour before it burst, God that was painful.

Seems kinda fast to go from a burst appendix, go septic, and pass away. Not completely unheard of though.
I can see it happening. I went in at 9 am for what I thought was bad constipation and found out that my appendix had ruptured. In retrospect I should have known something more was off because I've never been constipated in my life. Didn't really have any pain the entire time just lots of nausea and the feeling of needing to go #2 but not being able to. Finally started having a little bit of pain - probably about 4/10 while they prepped me for surgery. Surgeon suspected it ruptured around the time I got the the office and told my wife if I had waited until noon I would have been severely ill and maybe gone. They essentially had to wash my guts out and had a drain tube for 2 weeks along with a 3 day hospital stay.

read he was in the racing simulator on wednesday when he went unresponsive and they took him to the hospital.
Saw one twitter post say (no clue if legit or not) that he had an aneuyrsm while at the RCR facility.

That's going pretty far but he was good and I cheered for him even though he wasn't "my guy". I thought the bow was hilarious. He and Curt were old school. It's too bad he didn't have a competitive car the past few years.
I think he was top 10 for sure. But anyway I've never seen anyone dominate the field like he did that night in Joliet.
